York, PA – (December 3, 2020) Following over two years of work from committed volunteers, the Confronting Racism Coalition (CRC) has reached a significant milestone after being awarded its first grant by the York County Community Foundation. The funding will support hiring the first CRC Director to lead the work to the next level.

On Wednesday, May 8th, the Confronting Racism Coalition held a press conference on Cherry Lane in York City hosted by the IDEAS Center. The purpose was to share the work of the volunteer-led group and to invite others to join in the shared commitment to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable York County.
